GST Cluster universities admission tests have been rescheduled
Dates of first year undergraduate admission test for 2023-24 academic year in GST cluster universities have been rescheduled. As per the revised schedule, the admission tests will be held on Saturday, April 27 (A Unit-Science), Saturday, May 4 (B Unit-Humanities) and Saturday, May 11 (C Unit-Commerce). The admission test for all units will be held from 12 noon to 01 am.
These decisions were taken in the third meeting of the integrated admission committee of GST cluster universities at the University Grants Commission (UGC) Conference Room on Wednesday afternoon.
It was informed in the meeting that students can apply from February 12 at 12:01 PM to February 26, 2024 till11:59 PM. As before, application fee is 1500 taka and for specialized subjects’ additional application fee of taka 500 will be added.

Regarding the rescheduling of the admission application, the convener of the integrated admission committee, Jashore University of Science and Technology-JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain said that since the decision of batch admission test is taken by combining many universities, everyone's opinion is equally important. This exam has to be organized all over the country, so it is difficult to implement without full technical preparation. Earlier, after announcing the exam schedule, the date and schedule of the admission exam application has been finalized in the third meeting by coordinating some very practical issues.
Chandpur University of Science and Technology Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nashim Akhtar presented the full technical committee. At the same time, Cumilla University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AFM Abdul Moin also presented the list of a full Finance Committee. To ensure equal participation of all, both the committees included one representative from each university in the cluster. Vice Chancellor of Jashore University of Science and Technology and the Convener of integrated admission committee of GST cluster universities Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain presided over the meeting. Vice-chancellors from 23 university were present in the meeting.
