Telegram notifications can be heard in the preferred tone
The new update on Telegram is going to relieve users from annoying notifications. Users can now use any word of their choice as a notification. News The Verge.
According to the report, the user can upload small audio files through his phone and set that audio as the notification tone of the chat.
Telegram currently supports audio files and voice messages of less than 300 kilobytes and less than five seconds. Users can set separate notifications for specific chats or groups if they wish.
To set customized notification sound, go to Settings from Notifications & Sound menu. If you do not have your own sound, you can use different sounds from Telegram's notification sound channel.
In addition to the custom notification tone, Telegram has also introduced custom mute duration. Earlier, notifications could be stopped for one hour, eight hours or two days. Now many options have been created.
