Integrating sustainable e-mobility with environmental conservation, leading electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Bangladesh launched its "BYD Green Drive" campaign today, pledging to plant one tree for every test drive conducted. Operating under the banner "Drive Today, Grow Tomorrow," the month-long nationwide program runs across all BYD outlets until September 30, 2026.

Under the operational roadmap, the total count of test drives completed by month-end will dictate the exact number of trees planted nationwide. This initiative forms an integral part of BYD's broader environmental framework and directly reinforces its global corporate mission, "Cool the Earth by 1°C." Any prospective driver testing BYD’s New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) automatically contributes to this carbon-offset effort.

Elaborating on the strategic vision, BYD Bangladesh Chief Marketing Officer Imtiaz Naowsher stated, "For a customer, the journey of buying a car often begins with a test drive. We wanted to connect that initial experience with an opportunity to do something good. Under Green Drive, one tree will be planted for every test drive. Thus, a small step by an individual contributes to a larger initiative. We hope everyone's participation will drive positive change in the country."
