Speaking as the chief guest at the FICCI FDI Conference 2026 and Investors' Expo, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman said the government is building a rules-based, globally connected and private sector-led economy while strengthening Bangladesh's position as a competitive investment destination.
The day-long conference, titled "Accelerating Foreign Investment for Jobs and Prosperity in Bangladesh," was organized by the Foreign Investors' Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) in Dhaka on Thursday.
