bKash Brings ‘Congratulatory Cards’ to Celebrate HSC Success
Fintech company bKash has launched special ‘Congratulatory Cards’ to celebrate the joyous achievements of students who passed this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. Similar to festive occasions like Pahela Baishakh or Eid, these new digital cards—featuring the tagline “In the joy of results, sending prayers through bKash”—have been added to the Send Money section of the bKash app.
Extending warm wishes for students’ accomplishments has long been a cherished tradition in Bangladeshi culture. Elders have also followed the custom of giving money as a token of blessings—a practice that continues to this day. The new initiative by bKash allows well-wishers to join in this celebration remotely while maintaining that age-old spirit of sharing happiness.
To send congratulations through the bKash app, users can go to the Send Money icon and enter the recipient’s mobile number. After entering the desired amount, they can select a congratulatory card. The default message on the card reads, “May success fill your life, and may you reach the peak of prosperity.” However, users may also write their own personalized greetings. Additionally, they can include their name, signature, or relationship title at the bottom of the card. Once the transaction is confirmed with a PIN, the recipient instantly receives both the money and the attached congratulatory message.
bKash’s greetings cards—featuring messages and images—have become quite popular during major celebrations such as Eid and Pahela Baishakh. Recipients not only receive the cards but also share them on social media, expressing their joy and heartfelt emotions with friends and family.
