Billing in Taka: Local Currency Billing Boosts Meta's Business in Bangladesh
Meta’s managed partner in Bangladesh, Roar Global, has launched a local currency (Taka) billing service to empower domestic businesses. Through its Bangladeshi wing, Roar Bangla, the company will now deliver Meta’s advertising services and solutions directly to the local market.
The initiative aims to simplify financial processes for all advertisers, enabling easier adoption and smoother ad management, the company stated with optimism.
The announcement came through a press release issued on Tuesday, August 26. It noted that Roar Global has been offering these services in collaboration with Meta’s APAC team under a global partnership. As a result, Bangladeshi customers have access to direct customer support from Meta, along with strategic guidance and various platform insights.
Roar Global’s Chief Marketing Officer, Umair Waleed, said, “From the very beginning, our goal has been to build a bridge between Meta’s advertising platform and Bangladesh’s rapidly growing business sector.” He added, “By introducing billing in local currency (Taka) and expanding our technical and strategic services, we have made it easier than ever for businesses across the country to grow their brands and reach their target customers.”
