Mass Communication Engineer Azim Uddin Passes Away; Broadcasting Affairs Adviser Condoles

Mohammad Azim Uddin, Maintenance Engineer at the Department of Mass Communication, passed away on Saturday morning, June 14, at the Government Employees Hospital in Dhaka (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un).

In a message of condolence, Information and Broadcasting Affairs Adviser Md. Mahfuz Alam expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Mohammad Azim Uddin.

In his statement, the Adviser said, “Mohammad Azim Uddin was a skilled officer. He served his duties with dedication and sincerity throughout his career.” He also prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.

Additional condolences were expressed by Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Mahbuba Farzana, Director General of the Department of Mass Communication Md. Nizamul Kabir, President of the BCS Information Association Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin, and General Secretary Md. Mamunur Rashid.

The late Mohammad Azim Uddin was widely respected for his professionalism and commitment in his role as a maintenance engineer, and his passing is being mourned across the information and communication fraternity.
