Clarification on Independence Day Parade: Events to Proceed in 63 Districts, Not in Dhaka Due to Stadium Renovation

Reports suggesting the cancellation of this year's Independence Day parade on March 26 are inaccurate, according to the Chief Advisor's Press Wing. While Dhaka will not host the parade due to ongoing renovations at the national stadium, the remaining 63 districts will conduct the event with due honor.
In a press release issued on Sunday night, the Press Wing stated that the government has directed all district commissioners to take necessary measures to organize the parade and honor freedom fighters in their respective districts.
Contrary to earlier remarks by Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Nasimul Gani, indicating the parade's cancellation due to the country's current state and lack of celebratory mood, the Chief Advisor's Press Secretary, Md. Shafiqul Alam, clarified that the parade will proceed outside Dhaka.
The Chief Advisor's Press Wing emphasized that, despite the inability to hold the parade in Dhaka, the government remains committed to commemorating Independence Day with appropriate ceremonies across the country.
