Metro Movement Halted on Eid-ul-Adha

Dhaka's metro rail services will remain suspended on Saturday, June 7, in observance of the holy Eid-ul-Adha, according to an official notice issued by Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) on Tuesday.
The announcement, signed by DMTCL Director (Administration) A K M Khairul Alam, stated, “On the day of Eid-ul-Adha (June 7), metro rail services will remain closed.”
The notice further informed that metro services will resume the following day, Sunday (June 8), from 8:00 am with trains operating at 30-minute intervals.
Additionally, from Monday, June 9, metro rail operations will follow the regular schedule applicable to public holidays.
