Bangladesh to Host First-Ever ESG Bootcamp in June 2025
For the first time in the country’s history, Bangladesh is set to host the ESG Bootcamp 2025 this June, with over 200 professionals expected to participate from five key sectors: readymade garments, FMCG and telecommunications, banking and financial institutions, the maritime industry, and pharmaceuticals.
Organized by the ESG Institute Bangladesh, the three-day event will take place at BRAC CDM in Rajendrapur from June 20 to 22. The bootcamp aims to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills related to ESG strategies, essential tools, and performance metrics (KPIs).
According to the organizers, the bootcamp will serve as a unique platform for individuals and organizations to gain insights into ESG and sustainability, engage in networking, and foster future leadership in the ESG domain. It also offers an opportunity for professionals from various industries to collaborate with national and international experts.
The sessions will include case studies, toolkits, performance indicators, and strategic frameworks designed to promote business excellence through sustainable practices.
Speaking about the initiative, Sadman Sakib Anik, CSRM™, Executive Director of ESG Institute Bangladesh, said, “ESG Bootcamp 2025 is not just a training program—it’s a forecast of positive transformation. Our goal is to equip businesses to thrive and advance in a sustainable economy through technical support, improved insights, and leadership development. We believe that the time to act is now—only then can the winds of sustainable change truly blow.”
The bootcamp is expected to be a landmark event in fostering ESG awareness and action across Bangladesh’s major industries.
