NSU Tech Fest 2025 Showcases Innovation and Creativity

North South University (NSU), one of the country’s leading private universities, is currently hosting the NSU Tech Fest 2025, a four-day-long technology festival that began on February 9 and will conclude on February 12. The event has turned into a vibrant gathering of innovation, creativity, and technology enthusiasts, attracting students from various educational institutions across the country. Competitions such as hackathons, robotics seminars, and e-sports tournaments are taking place with great enthusiasm.
Additionally, a special simulator competition has been opened to the public, offering participants a real-life driving experience. The event also features a showcase of cutting-edge hardware, including motherboards, casings, and laptops from Gigabyte. The semifinals and finals are scheduled for February 12, followed by an award ceremony for the winners.
The festival kicked off on Sunday (February 9) at NSU’s main campus in the Bashundhara residential area and is being organized by members of the university’s NSUCEC club. The primary sponsors of the event are Gigabyte and Aorus.
Expressing excitement over the event, Gigabyte Bangladesh’s Country Manager, Khaja Md. Anas Khan, stated, “We are thrilled to support such an initiative by the students of North South University. More than 600 gamers are competing in Valorant and FIFA gaming tournaments during this four-day fest. This is the largest tech event in the country in the past decade. Students from various colleges and universities are participating, and we encourage everyone to join.”
