BCS celebrates 35th anniversary in a Christmas vibe

The Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) entered its 35th year and the celebration of the anniversary got a Christmas vibe with reception, exchanging gifts in a festive mood. The anniversary was celebrated with a day-long festival at the Subarnagram Resort in Rupganj of Narayanganj on Saturday (25 December, 2021) The presence of more than four thousand members of the BCS family as well as the presence of stakeholders was a sight to behold. After entering the venue, every child noticed the opportunity to choose as many toys as they wanted. Planning Minister Mohammad Abdul Mannan inaugurated the festival by flying balloons at 11:30 am. Swadesh Ranjan Saha, former Speaker SM Iqbal and current Secretary General Muhammad Monirul Islam delivered welcome speeches on the occasion. After that, BCS President Shahid Ul Munir took the Planning Minister along and handed over the crest in the hands of the BCS Regional Committee. The convener of the event, BCS Vice President Mohammad Javedur Rahman Shaheen and the directors of the executive committee were also present.
