Catalyzing Creativity: Startup Kushtia Commences
Startup Kushtia, a progressive initiative dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and SME development in Kushtia, has officially launched through its first Executive Committee (EC) meeting.
The inaugural meeting was held on Wednesday, August 26, marking the formal commencement of the organization’s activities.
Leading the newly formed Executive Committee is Founder President Muhammad Altamish Nabil. Other committee members include A.R. Rajib (Executive Vice President), A.H. Ali (Vice President), Anand Kutum (Secretary), and Isha Khan (Director).
The committee aims to create a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem for young innovators and small business leaders in Kushtia. Startup Kushtia envisions a self-reliant, entrepreneur-friendly region where every young individual can transform innovative ideas into ventures that generate employment and contribute to economic growth. Its mission includes promoting entrepreneurial awareness in educational institutions, supporting youth skill and leadership development, encouraging innovation based on local challenges and resources, and connecting the entrepreneurial community to national and international platforms.
During the first meeting, upcoming initiatives were discussed, including the launch of online member registration via the official social media channels. Plans are also underway to organize an entrepreneurship boot camp and a grand launching event, focusing on Kushtia’s new entrepreneurs, SMEs, and startups.
Future activities will include regular training sessions, mentorship programs, guest speaker events featuring successful entrepreneurs, and storytelling campaigns highlighting local success stories.
