The inaugural ceremony also featured virtual addresses by the Chairman of the university’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, and DMA Chairman Mahbub Zaman.
According to Professor Dr. Sheikh Rashed Huydar Noor, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the center has been established to familiarize CSE students with rapidly evolving technologies and to enhance the quality and excellence of practical education.
Presiding over the event, Dr. Noor was joined by several distinguished speakers, including DMA Managing Director Hasan Rahman, Rahimafrooz CEO Kamrul Islam, Intellier Advisor Md. Shafiqul Islam, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology Professor Dr. Bimal Chandra Das, and CSE Associate Head Professor Dr. Aminul Islam.
In his address, Dr. Md. Through this, they will be able to prepare themselves to be employable in both local and international markets.”
Calling on students to make the most of this opportunity in building a “Smart Bangladesh,” Dr. Khan expressed hope that the DMA-DIU Tech Center would prove to be a successful initiative, functioning as a hub for innovation, research, and entrepreneurship.
