Changes that came in the admission tests schedule of GST cluster universities

There are some changes in the schedule for the first-year undergraduate admission test for the academic year 2023-24 in GST cluster universities. As per the revised schedule, the admission test will be held on Saturday, April 27 (A Unit-Science); on Friday, May 3 (B Unit-Humanities) and on Friday, May 10 (C Unit-Commerce). The admission tests for 'A' unit will be held from 12 noon to 1 pm and the admission test for the other two units will be held from 11 am to 12 noon.

The decision was taken in the fourth meeting of the integrated admission committee of GST cluster universities held online on February 8. As per the previous announcement, students can apply from 12 February 12 noon to 26 February 2024 AD till 11:59 pm.

Regarding the change in the schedule of the admission tests, the convener of the integrated admission committee of Jashore University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain said, since the cluster admission test is held on a large scale, it is appropriate to keep various factors in consideration. The admission test schedule that was announced earlier conflicts with the date set in the recently announced local government election schedule. As a result, a decision has been taken to change the schedule so that the students and parents do not have to face any kind of suffering or embarrassment. We seek the cooperation of all stakeholders of the country for the smooth completion of the GST admission test.

In the fourth meeting of the committee chaired by the Vice Chancellor of Jashore University of Science and Technology and convener of integrated admission committee of GST cluster universities Md. Anwar Hossain, the vice-chancellors of 24 universities were connected online.
