GST Admission Alert: Entry Cards Must Be Downloaded by April 10

Applicants for the 2024–25 academic year admission test under the General, Science and Technology (GST) cluster must download their admit cards by April 10, according to an official notice on the GST admission portal.

“All applicants must download their admit cards by April 10,” the statement read.

Earlier, the application window closed at midnight on March 17, with a total of 238,000 candidates applying for admission to 13 science and technology universities and six general universities participating in the GST system this year.

Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Azim, Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology (MBSTU) and convener of the GST admission committee, confirmed the figures. “This year, around 238,000 students have applied for admission. Among them, 143,000 applied for Unit ‘A’ (Science), 72,045 for Unit ‘B’ (Humanities), and 23,054 for Unit ‘C’ (Commerce),” he said.

The entrance examinations will be held at 20 centres across the country. Applicants were required to select one preferred centre while applying, which will be treated as final. “No change in test centres will be allowed after the application deadline,” the notice emphasized.
