Advanced technology integration, artificial intelligence, interoperable Bangla QR platforms, and automation across logistics will slash operational costs for businesses while preventing corruption through transparent data tracking.

He noted that delays across ports, roads, and factories increase overall business costs. Port and airport services must transition to automated digital systems to boost efficiency. To stay competitive globally, Bangladesh must enhance service speed and build strong AI-driven management capabilities.
The minister stressed that cashless transactions increase transparency and align with BNP's election manifesto on the digital economy. He urged full interoperability among banks and MFS providers to optimize Bangla QR.
Furthermore, QR-based transactions create data logs that simplify tax collection and ease arbitrary pressure on taxpayers. Reducing physical touchpoints through digital channels will lower the cost of doing business and strengthen economic competitiveness.
