Leading digital operator Banglalink secured two awards at the prestigious 'ESG Excellence Awards 2026' for its proprietary self-retailer application, Banglalink Power. Jointly organized by Global Compact Network Bangladesh and ESG Institute Bangladesh at Lakeshore Hotel in the capital, the achievement was confirmed via a press release on Monday (September 07).
Banglalink won awards under 'External Supply Chain, Collaboration and Partnerships' and 'Excellence in ESG Technology and Digital Innovation' categories. Launched in March this year, Banglalink Power allows users to earn extra income by selling mobile recharges with zero upfront investment, utilizing digital Know Your Customer (e-KYC) verification, real-time commission tracking, and digital rewards systems.
Sales and Distribution Director Mohammad Mehedi Hasan said, “Banglalink Power is transforming the traditional retail ecosystem by enabling anyone across the country to join our digital distribution network. The platform offers accessible earning opportunities with zero upfront investment, empowering retailers to run a business directly from their smartphones. We are proud of Banglalink Power’s role in onboarding more people into the digital retail ecosystem.”
The platform facilitates income generation for youths, women, and micro-entrepreneurs without requiring physical shop setups. Banglalink Power has also partnered with international development organization Winrock International to extend digital financial inclusion to underserved populations.
