Hi-Tech Park in Jamalpur and 492 DESEP Centers in 64 districts this year
The Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology has gifted laptops to two persons with special ability, Aklima and Lipon, freelancers from Jamalpur for making a living. At the same time, he promised to help the ICT department to form a company from a freelancer if these two want to take a few more with them.
On Sunday morning, Mirza Azam MP of Jamalpur-3 constituency handed over Aklima's laptop in the office room of the MP hostel.
On the other hand, Abdullah Al Mamun, Jamalpur correspondent of private television channel 71, delivered the laptop to Lipon through Sumon.
Apart from providing these gifts, construction work of a high-tech park in Jamalpur has also started this year and a digital service and employment center (DESEP) will be set up in each Upazila, the state minister said. Apart from Jamalpur, 492 dispensaries will be set up in 64 districts across the country, he added.
At the same time, Palak said that the ICT department has created employment for 1.5 million young people in the last 12 years by acquiring technology skills with the intention of providing employment to the younger generation across the country.
He added that in the future, 640 laptops will be handed over to them after training specially capable people in 64 districts and 4,000 freelancers will also be given this gift.
