Internet users in Tanzania have increased by 93 percent in lockdown
The number of Internet users in third-world countries has increased dramatically due to the lockdown. In the African country of Tanzania, the number of Internet subscribers has increased by 93 percent.
There were 15 million Internet users in the country before the deadly corona pandemic. But now there are 29 million people using the internet.
Not only in Tanzania, but many other countries around the world have seen an increase in internet usage.
Experts say more users have already entered the world of technology than expected to enter in the next few years. Some are referring to this situation as an 'explosion of technology'.
