ICT Division Announces Recruitment for 24 Posts Across Five Categories
The Information and Communication Technology Division under the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology has published a recruitment notice for positions from Grade 13 to Grade 20. The ICT Division has begun accepting online applications to recruit a total of 24 people in five categories of posts. Job seekers can apply through the designated link until 30 March.
The process of filling out application forms and submitting examination fees began on Tuesday, 10 March. For the posts of Computer Operator, Cashier, Data Entry/Control Operator, and Office Support Staff, applicants must be between 18 and 32 years of age as of 1 January 2026. However, for the position of Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist, the age limit may be relaxed up to 40 years for departmental candidates.
The application fee for the Office Support Staff post is Tk 50 with an additional Tk 6 service charge, totaling Tk 56. For the remaining posts, the application fee has been set at Tk 100 with a Tk 12 service charge, totaling Tk 112.
According to the circular, the ICT Division will recruit two Computer Operators in Grade 13 with a pay scale of Tk 11,000–26,590. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s (honours) degree in science or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. They must also pass the Standard Aptitude Test in the relevant subject and demonstrate typing speeds of 25 words per minute in Bangla and 30 words per minute in English on a computer.
The Cashier post falls under Grade 14, with a pay scale of Tk 10,200–24,680. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce from a recognized university, possess computer proficiency, and have skills and experience in computer operations, including word processing. One person will be appointed to this post.
For the Data Entry/Control Operator position in Grade 16, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. They must also pass the Standard Aptitude Test in the relevant subject and demonstrate typing speeds of 20 words per minute in both Bangla and English. The pay scale for this post is Tk 9,300–22,490, and two candidates will be recruited.
In the same grade, the ICT Division will recruit five Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typists. Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate or an equivalent examination from a recognized board, have computer training, and possess minimum typing speeds of 20 words per minute in both Bangla and English. They must also have skills and experience in computer operations, including word processing, email, and fax management.
The ICT Division will recruit the highest number of candidates—14—for the Office Support Staff post under Grade 20. Applicants for this position must have passed the Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. The pay scale for this post is Tk 8,250–20,010.
