United Finance’s UMA App Earns Top Honor in NBFI Category

United Finance has won the Best Award in the Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI) category at the 3rd Bangladesh Fintech Award for its mobile application, UMA (United Finance Mobile App).

The award ceremony took place on Saturday, November 8, at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. United Finance Managing Director Mohammad Rafiqul Islam received the award, which was handed over by Prime Bank CEO Hasan O. Rashid.

Deputy Managing Director of United Finance, Mohammad Abul Ahsan, also attended the event and shared his reflections on the achievement.

UMA is the only mobile application in the NBFI sector that enables fully digital account opening. Through the app, customers can view real-time account balances, download statements and certificates, and submit various service requests. Its user-friendly design and smooth functionality have empowered customers with greater financial independence, earning the app strong positive feedback from users.

Regarding the achievement, Managing Director Mohammad Rafiqul Islam stated:
