Sonali e-Seba launched for expats to transact easily

Sonali Bank Limited is continuously working as an active partner in building 'Smart Bangladesh' announced by the Prime Minister. As a part of this, Sonali e-Sheba is being launched with the aim of bringing technology-based modern banking services to the doorsteps of expatriate Bangladeshis living in any part of the world. Expatriates can open accounts abroad through the iOS version of this mobile app. Transactions can be made from abroad through Sonali e-Wallet mobile app Android and iOS versions. On Sunday (January 8), QR code-based cash payments were launched within the country along with these services. Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance inaugurated this digital service in the conference room of the bank's head office. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of the bank Md. Afzal Karim presided over the event where the Chairman of the Board of Directors Ziaul Hasan Siddiqui was present as a special guest. In addition, the additional secretary of the financial institution department of the Ministry of Finance Md. Harun Or Rashid Mollah, Mofiz Uddin Ahmed, Amal Krishna Mondal, Board of Directors members, Deputy Managing Director, General Manager of the Head Office and other senior officers of the bank were also present. Using Sonali e-Seba, Sonali e-Wallet and Payment Gateway digital banking systems, customers can do banking services and transactions at home. From now expatriates can also take banking services and transact from abroad. App-based Sonali e-Seba, Sonali e-Wallet from now on, customers can avail all banking services using iOS version as well. Apart from this, due to the addition of QR code, one can easily take advantage of shopping and transaction activities.
