Special Flights Arranged for Bangladeshi Expatriates in Bahrain
Two special flights have been arranged for Bangladeshi expatriates residing in Bahrain. Operated by Gulf Air, the special flights from Bangladesh to Bahrain will travel via Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
The information was disclosed in a notice issued by the Bangladesh Embassy in Manama on Tuesday (March 24).
According to the notice, the first flight will depart Bahrain for Dhaka via Dammam on March 27 and will return on the same date from Dhaka to Dammam. The next flight will depart Bahrain for Dhaka via Dammam on April 3 and will again return on the same date from Dhaka to Dammam.
The second flight will also operate on April 3 along the same route. That is, it will travel from Dhaka to Bahrain via Dammam and return to Dhaka from Bahrain on the same day.
The embassy stated that those interested in returning to Bahrain from Bangladesh must complete registration by filling out a designated Google form. Further instructions will be provided to passengers after registration.
Due to disruptions in flight operations amid the ongoing conflict situation, many expatriates had been uncertain about returning to their workplaces. The arrangement of these special flights has now created an opportunity for their return.
