CareersUp BD, a prominent digital platform in Bangladesh dedicated to career development, is set to launch a six-month-long National Career Mentoring Camp. In addition to this flagship initiative, the platform is also planning to organize workshops on career branding and skill development across corporate organizations and university campuses.

Announcing the upcoming initiatives on Saturday, Sohag Fardin Oron, CEO of CareersUp BD, said, “We have observed that many educated and skilled individuals in the country fail to reach their desired positions in the job market or in their careers due to a lack of proper guidance and preparation. CareersUp BD is working to bridge that gap.”

Highlighting the platform’s broader vision, he added, “We want to build a Bangladesh where every citizen has a defined career plan along with an effective skill development mechanism. This way, they can compete not just within the country but also with professionals from developed nations.”

To achieve this goal, the platform will soon begin its six-month National Career Mentoring Campaign. Under this program, ten professionals from different parts of the country will be selected and provided with free mentoring from renowned career coaches and mentors in Bangladesh.

For the past five years, CareersUp BD has been offering a range of career-oriented services, including one-on-one career counseling sessions, interview preparation guidelines and mock interviews, professional CV and résumé writing, cover letter and video résumé development, LinkedIn profile branding, statement of purpose writing, and regular updates on job circulars and BDJobs listings.
