CUET Teachers’ Association Hosts AGM and Farewell Ceremony
The Teachers’ Association of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) organized its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and a farewell ceremony for three esteemed faculty members on Sunday. Both events took place in the Academic Council Room of the university.
The Vice-Chancellor of CUET, Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, attended as the Chief Guest.
Presiding over the meeting, the President of the CUET Teachers’ Association, Professor Dr. G.M. Sadikul Islam, facilitated the proceedings. During the AGM, the General Secretary of the association, Professor Dr. Md. Arafat Rahman, presented the annual report, while the Treasurer, Monowar Wadud Hridoy, delivered the financial report.
The event was coordinated by the association’s Publicity and Social Welfare Secretary, Md. Asifur Rahman.
As part of the farewell ceremony, three distinguished faculty members were honored by the association: Professor Dr. Mahmud Omar Imam from the Department of Civil Engineering, Professor Dr. Faruk-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury from the Department of Physics, and Associate Professor Md. Nazrul Islam from the Department of Mathematics.
The ceremony highlighted their invaluable contributions to CUET and marked their departure with heartfelt recognition and gratitude.
