Leading ridesharing platform Uber has officially launched 'Uber Parcel', an on-demand delivery service enabling users in Bangladesh to send documents, essential items, and eligible packages through the Uber app. Designed for everyday convenience, the service connects users with driver-partners for direct point-to-point item movement.

Commenting on the launch, Redwan Rezvi, Country General Manager of Uber Bangladesh, said, "At Uber, we are constantly looking for ways to make everyday movement simpler and more convenient for people across Bangladesh. With Uber Parcel, we are expanding beyond moving people to helping move the things that matter to them. Whether it is an important document or a package for a customer, Uber Parcel offers a reliable solution while creating additional earning opportunities for our driver-partners."

The service integrates enhanced safety and convenience features, including real-time GPS tracking and a PIN verification system to ensure packages reach designated recipients. Users can request immediate pickups or schedule deliveries in advance, alongside adding customized drop-off instructions.

Uber Parcel caters to diverse daily needs, ranging from personal gifts and office supplies to small business customer orders. The bike-based delivery model simultaneously provides driver-partners with an additional income stream while easing urban package logistics.
