The 23rd Annual General Meeting of ISPAB, the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh, took place at the Army Golf Club in Dhaka. The meeting commenced at 3 pm on Wednesday, 26th February, at the Golf Garden, with a thousand members in attendance. The executive council, general members, and associate members of ISPAB participated in the meeting.
Chaired by the President of the Executive Council, Aminul Hakim, the general members approved the minutes of the Association's 22nd Annual General Meeting held on 18th February. Subsequently, the General Secretary, Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan, presented the annual report for 2025. In his welcome speech, Senior Vice-President, Saiful Islam Siddique, expressed his commitment to working together with all ISPs to ensure internet access for everyone, urging each member to move forward collectively.
Furthermore, in accordance with regulations, the Treasurer, Moin Uddin Ahmed, presented the audited accounts for the financial year 2025. The meeting concluded with the appointment of a new auditor. Following the meeting, an Iftar gathering was held with the participation of BTRC officials, journalists, business leaders from the sector, and stakeholders.
Vice-President Neamul Haq Khan, Joint Secretary General-1 Mahbub Alam, Joint Secretary General-2 Fuad Muhammad Sharfuddin, and Directors Rashedur Rahman, Md. Mithu Hawladar, Sabbir Ahmed, Raisul Islam, Md. Zubayer Islam, and S.M. Saiful Islam were present at the meeting.
Upon entering the Annual General Meeting and Iftar, guests were greeted with welcome gifts courtesy of ICC Communication Limited, the internet service provider and sponsor of the entire event.
