Drone Discovery at Law Adviser’s Dwelling

A suspicious 'drone' was found at the government residence of Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul, Legal Adviser to the Interim Government. The recovered drone has been sent to a laboratory for examination. The incident occurred on Saturday morning.
The City Cyber Crime Investigation Division’s Digital Forensic Team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP-CTTC) recovered the drone and sent it for forensic testing.
The DMP stated on Sunday that the matter is under investigation. Meanwhile, security around the legal adviser's residence has been intensified following the incident.
DMP Commissioner Sheikh Sajjat Ali confirmed the recovery of the drone to the media, stating, "It (the drone) is currently under verification. It has been sent to the forensic lab."
It was reported that around 8:45 AM on Saturday morning, a drone was found lying on the grass in front of the main building of the legal adviser's official residence. It is understood that Salma Haque, a gardener working at the residence, discovered the drone while sweeping the garden.
Later, she handed it over to the legal adviser's personal officer, Delwar Hossain, who then informed the law enforcement authorities.
Subsequently, at around 10:30 AM, a team from the Digital Forensic Unit of the City Cyber Crime Investigation Division, CTTC, DMP arrived and recovered the drone.
