Meghna Bank’s Mission for Mastery: ‘Center for Excellence’ Launched in Dhaka

With the aim of enhancing digital skills, banking knowledge, work efficiency, creativity, and employee engagement, Meghna Bank PLC has established a Center for Excellence in Mohakhali, Dhaka. The initiative is expected to play a significant role in the bank’s development by fostering a customer-centric workforce aligned with the vision of service excellence.

The newly established institute is set to be equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms, advanced digital infrastructure, and will be operated by experienced professionals. The training center will offer a wide range of programs focusing on leadership development, digital upskilling, and the creation of a future-ready banking workforce.

The Center for Excellence was formally inaugurated by Uzma Chowdhury, Chairperson of Meghna Bank, who cut the ceremonial ribbon to mark the occasion. Also present at the event were Mohammad Mamunul Haque, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee; Md. Ali Akhtar Rizvi FCA, Chairman of the Audit Committee and Independent Director; Md. Razzak Ali; Mohammad Nazrul Islam; Habibur Rahman; Managing Director and CEO Kazi Ahsan Khalil; Deputy Managing Director Md. Sadequre Rahman; along with other senior executives of the bank.

Speaking as the chief guest, Chairperson Uzma Chowdhury stated, “Continuous training and skill development are the foundations of innovation and excellence. This training institute will play a supportive role in empowering Meghna Bank’s officers and staff with modern banking knowledge to adapt to the evolving financial sector.”
