COMPUTEX Convergence: Bangladesh ICT Delegation Joins Asia’s Premier AI Tech Expo

The world's latest technologies, breakthrough innovations, and future-ready products have come together at COMPUTEX Taipei 2026, Asia’s largest and one of the world’s leading information technology exhibitions, which opened today with a grand ceremony at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in the Taiwanese capital.

Held under the theme “AI Together,” the four-day international technology showcase was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, June 2, and will conclude on Friday, June 5. The event is widely regarded as one of the most influential global platforms for emerging technologies and digital innovation.

A high-level delegation from the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), the leading trade body representing Bangladesh’s information technology sector, is participating in the exhibition. The delegation is led by BCS President Mohammad Zahirul Islam and includes Vice President Md. Wahidul Hasan Dipu, Secretary General Muhammad Monirul Islam, Director Md. Iqbal Hossain, and senior representatives from 41 member companies.

Throughout the four-day high-tech exhibition, leading global technology companies, investors, and business leaders are participating in a wide range of activities. BCS leaders and member organizations will engage in bilateral business discussions, networking sessions, technology collaboration initiatives, and international seminars and workshops with the aim of expanding market opportunities for Bangladesh and strengthening technological cooperation with global stakeholders.

This year’s COMPUTEX exhibition is showcasing the latest global innovations and capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI) computing, advanced robotics, smart mobility, and other cutting-edge technologies. The event has earned worldwide recognition for its ability to adapt to rapid industrial transformation and technological evolution. Over the years, it has established itself as a premier international platform for unveiling technological innovations, next-generation products, and advanced digital solutions.

The mega exhibition is jointly organized by the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), two of Taiwan’s leading organizations representing the technology industry and international trade development.

More than 1,500 exhibitors from around the world are participating in the event, displaying their latest 5G, cloud, and AI-powered technologies, products, and solutions. Visitors are being offered a unique opportunity to experience these innovations firsthand and gain direct insight into the future trends shaping the global technology landscape.
