Two employees of Mobile Financial Services Nagad Limited have bagged South Asia’s prestigious BFSI Tech Award. 250 delegates from different parts of the world participated in this event.
The award was handed over at the recently held ‘South Asian BFSI Tech Summit’ in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Nepal’s Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kazi handed over the awards to the award winners from the best South Asian countries. In the event, a total of 46 people from different countries were awarded in different categories.
In a press release on Tuesday, Nagad Limited informed that their Chief Program Officer Shahriar Ibn Zaman won the ‘Rising Star’ award in the ‘Digital Transformation and Innovation’ category and Nagad Limited’s Head of Marketing Strategy and Planning KM Mansurul Aziz in the ‘Rising Star’ category. Won the PR and Marketing Communications Professional of the Year’ award.
More than 250 participants from different countries of the world took part in this event. Industry leaders, policy makers and influencers from six SAARC countries India, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal participated. The event honored people who bring innovations in technology and information technology. More than 40 speakers presented their experiences and opinions in 10 different sessions.
Recently Nagad managed the BMW campaign. Which raised equal voice not only inside the country but also outside the country. Digital financial transactions have increased significantly as a result of this campaign. BFSI’s recognition of two Nagad workers made that all the more relevant.
