Qualcomm has announced the next generation flagship mobile processor. It will be marketed as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Various information about the features and performance of the new processor has already been revealed. News Gizmo China.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the previously leaked benchmarks were based on low-frequency engineering samples of the Eight Generation Four. But that’s normal, analysts said, because primary silicon used for stability testing purposes is often less mobile.
According to published reports, the numbers seen recently may not be final.
According to new details revealed by the tipster, the latest version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has a “2+6” core architecture. The ‘2’ probably refers to a pair of high-performance cores, which will increase the processor’s clock speed by 3 decimal places from 6 GHz to 4 GHz.
The remaining six are probably efficiency cores. However, the tipster has not revealed any information on the clock speed yet. However, the parties claim that the single-core processor got about 2,700 points and 10,000 points in multi-core on Geekbench Six.
According to the leaked information, the first smartphone powered by the new chip could be unveiled in mid-October. Qualcomm’s latest high-end processors are used by Xiaomi and OnePlus. In fact, Xiaomi is rumored to unveil the 15 series of smartphones in October. The technicians believe that the Snapdragon eight generation four processor will be used for the first time in this series.
