The country’s first single industry fair ‘International Advanced Components and Technology Expo’, organized by Walton, ended on Saturday by receiving purchase orders worth around Tk. 250 crores from various domestic and foreign industries. Planning Minister MA Mannan was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of ‘ATS Expo-2023’ at Gulnakasha of International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital’s Kurile in the afternoon.
Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Chairman of Nitol Niloy Group, Abdul Matlub Ahmad, President of India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Director General of National Consumer Rights Association AHM Shafiquzzaman, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority Shaikh Yusuf Haroon, and Additional Secretary of Planning Ministry Sheikh Faizul Amin were present as special guests at the ceremony.
Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC Director SM Shamshul Alam presided over the closing ceremony and the company’s Director Tahmina Afroz Tanna, Managing Director and CEO Golam Murshed were present. Amin Khan, senior executive director of the company moderated the program.
In the Closing Ceremony, Walton High-Tech Industries PLC signed business agreements with ‘Sushmita Electronics Pvt. Ltd’, an electronics product marketing company in West Bengal, India; ‘GoldenArc Consumer Electronics Pvt. Ltd’, an authorized licensee of Global Electronics brand Hyundai; ‘Goldstar Home Appliance Industries’ and Bhanu Electrical Properties.
