Walton, a global brand of electronics and tech products, has fulfilled the hidden wish of air travel for a child on a flight from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. Walton Plaza, the brand’s showroom service provider, took the 12-year-old child to the tourist city of Cox’s Bazar by plane from Shahjalal Airport at 1 pm on Thursday. The child’s uncle Yusuf Molla was also taken with him. On the other hand, on behalf of the sponsors, the Walton Plaza senior officer Liton Hawlader was with them.
He said they were walking around the beach with the child in the afternoon. He will be kept at ‘Ocean Paradise’ hotel in Cox’s Bazar today.
Earlier, the child was brought to Dhaka from his village home in Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj. Wahiduzzaman, Brand Manager of Walton Plaza, along with the child’s uncle were with him.

Wahiduzzaman said the child’s father is a Walton customer. Customers are given various facilities from ‘Installment Protection Policy’ at Walton Plaza. Under this policy, since the child wants to be a pilot, they decided to put him on the plane.
Earlier on September 11, the child boarded a Kuwait Airways flight after crossing the airport security barriers. The flight was scheduled to take off around 3:15 a.m. Seeing the child standing at the door of the flight, the cabin crew asked him to sit in his seat. The child said his parents were not with him. He asked who he was on the plane with, but he couldn’t tell. He did not have a passport, ticket or boarding pass.
Later, the airport police arrested the child. The child was handed over to his family on September 13. After the incident, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) suspended 10 officials after questions were raised about the security of the airport. A committee has also been formed to investigate the incident.
