On Thursday (17 November 2022), expressed his opinion while the State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak spoke as the chief guest at the COICA Bangladesh Alumni Night program held at Hotel Inter-Continental Dhaka in the capital
In his speech, the state minister highlighted the various activities taken by Korea for the development of the ICT sector in Bangladesh. He said that Bangladesh and Korea have many opportunities to work together. In this regard KOICA Bangladesh is playing a special role.
South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jang-keun was present as the guest of honor on the occasion.
He said that there is a good relationship between Bangladesh and Korea. There are many opportunities and possibilities for working together between the two countries. He recounted the experience of traveling recently to various ongoing projects with KOICA and various government officials. He shed light on Korea’s industrial, commercial and economic situation. Finally, he said that Bangladesh has the potential to become the best training economic partner in the future in terms of economic relations with Korea.
Road Transport and Highways Department Secretary ABM Amin Ullah Noori and Economic Relations Department Additional Secretary Mohammad Shahriar Quader Siddiqui spoke as special guests on the occasion.
Planning Commission Member (Secretary) Mosammat Nasima Begum delivered the concluding speech. The welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Young-Ah Doh, Country Director of KOICA Bangladesh.,
