Walton Hi-tech Industries Limited has given 250 percent cash dividend in the just ended financial year.
According to DSE, this electronics giant of Bangladesh has sent the dividend for the financial year ended December 31, 2021 to the investors.
The company reportedly sent the cash dividend to investors through BEFTN Systems.
Earlier in the 16th Annual General Meeting of Hi-Tech Industries PLC last September 28, 150 percent cash dividend was approved for entrepreneurs and directors. The meeting unanimously approved the election and re-election of directors of the company and re-appointment of individual directors of the company.
It is worth noting, in the financial year 2021-2022, Walton’s basic profit per share (BEPS) was 40.16 taka, which was 54.21 taka in the 2020-2021 financial year. Also, the revalued net asset value per share (NAVPS) of the company in the financial year 2021-2022 stood at Tk. 334.68 and without revaluation was Tk. 231.34, which in the financial year 2021-2022 was Tk. 311.59 and without revaluation was Tk. 208.16.
