Every smartphone has a certain amount of storage. However, storing various files for a long time causes this storage to run out. And because of that many people get into trouble. For which, nowadays most of the buyers pay more attention to the storage of the phone while buying a new phone.
Due to lack of sufficient storage on the phone, there is a problem in downloading apps or important files, and even if the size of the app increases after the update, the problem also occurs.
However, Samsung has come up with a solution to that problem. The company recently announced a new “Temporary Cloud Backup” service for its users. Through which it will be easy to backup phone data from now on. This feature will offer free storage for certain files. The company has announced that the feature will be rolled out worldwide soon.
Samsung’s “Temporary Cloud Backup” will allow users to store up to 100 GB of files. But, users can only store data in the cloud for up to 30 days. This feature is only available on Samsung devices running One UI 6.0 or newer operating system.
The primary objective behind this new free storage plan is to give users a secure place to store essential data without fear of data loss. When a device needs servicing or replacement, this feature will become a very valuable asset.
Users will receive a notice when the 30-day time limit for each file expires. Moreover, this time limit will be calculated for each file separately. Even files stored in Samsung’s Secure Folder can be stored in the cloud for free for 30 days.
