Bengal Meat has launched an online Qurbani Haat on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. In the meantime, hundreds of thousands of sacrificial animals from bulls to goats and sheep have appeared in this market. The price of animals in the market has been raised from 50 thousand to 8 lakh taka. Weighing from 140 kg to 1000 kg.
Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim inaugurated the Haat (market). The minister commented that this online sacrificial market initiative by connecting virtually is a good example of building Smart Bangladesh.
The entire process from animal rearing to sacrifice was shown at a press conference at the Bengal Meat head office in Dhaka on Thursday. Bengal Meat Head of Marketing Sheikh Imran Aziz, Qurbani Project Head Faisal Ahmed, Human Resource Department Senior Manager Noor Mohammad were present.
Sheikh Imran Aziz said, “Disease-free cows, goats and sheep are ensured by sourcing from own farms and contracted farmers, after which slaughtering is done under the supervision of the representative of the Islamic Foundation, maintaining world-class certified meat processing standards and proper cold chain, delivery is guaranteed by Bengal meat. A completely halal and safe sacrifice. Every year Bengal Meat brings new attractions, this year they have brought organic grass-fed cows which are only natural grass-fed cattle.” He added “The user experience for the last eight years has been the most ‘safe and halal’ sacrifice platform. Bengal meat is being considered. And it is gaining popularity.”

Bengal authorities have said that every animal in their market is reared in their own farm with the highest health awareness. Animals bought from here will be sacrificed in a halal way under the supervision of the representative of the Islamic Foundation.
