Out of the continuation of shrinking service centers, this time ‘Grameenphone Experience Center’ has been inaugurated in Gulshan-2 of the capital. The experience center was inaugurated on Tuesday (May 23). The Director General (DG) of BTRC Systems and Services (SS) Division. Brigadier General Nasim Parvez inaugurated the center.
The Grameenphone Chief Executive Yasir Azman, Senior Director Hossain Sadat, Head of Marketing Farha Naz Zaman were present at the inaugural program.
According to the press release sent in this regard, after the inauguration, a panel discussion was held around the new experience center moderated by Grameenphone’s Head of Marketing Farha Naz Zaman. In this panel discussion, Xiaomi Bangladesh Country Manager Ziauddin Chowdhury, Oppo’s Emerging Channel Department Head of Sales Halim Pan, CellExtra Limited Managing Director Shakib Arafat and Grameenphone Chief Marketing Officer Sajjad Haseeb expressed their views on the theme ‘Future of Telco Retail’.
While speaking as the Chief Guest, the BTRC Secretary General Brigadier General Nasim Parvez said, “The future of mobile communication services in this journey of Smart Bangladesh depends on adapting to the technological transformation as well as meeting the changing digital needs of the customers. I believe such an experience center will add a new dimension to meeting that need, where customers will easily get all the services they need. I applaud Grameenphone’s efforts to play a proactive role in unlocking the potential of innovation and technology with this new addition.”

It was informed at the event that the new Grameenphone Experience Center located at Gulshan-2 in the capital has a Quick Service Podium, Exclusive Consultative Sales and Service Area. Also, there are lounges for Grameenphone premium customers. Valuable customers, who have been with Grameenphone for a long time, will get specialized services in this lounge of Grameenphone. The Experience Center also includes the Device and Engagement Zone, where customers can experience future-fit technology and enrich their digital lifestyle in the future. Additionally, the Experience Center will have a wide range of authorized products from reputed brands including Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, FastTrack and Amazfit. The Experience Center will be open every day of the week except public holidays from 10 am to 6 pm.
It may be mentioned that, the soft launch of the experience center was held on March 27. In the next one month, customers’ waiting time for receiving services has reduced from an average of 8.33 minutes to an average of 4.05 minutes. This means that the new Grameenphone Experience Center will significantly enhance the customer service experience.
