Children now will make their own model rockets at the Science Museum. That rocket will be launch in the sky; thus the kids will know the answers of many unknown questions of science. For this reason, the workshop of young scientists is going to be held on the morning of March 18.
Bangladesh Innovation Forum and Space Innovation Camp organized this workshop for the third time. As usual in the camp, there are various arrangements to increase the science practice among the children and teenagers and to encourage the children and teenagers in the development of science and technology through various fun science projects.
Organizers said, “Rocket Making Workshop” where children will make their own model rockets, launch rockets themselves, learn about the various parts of rockets, the history of rockets, how rockets work, as well as how a rocket can fly in the sky by doing various mathematical calculations. They will know about that through this program. About 50 students aged 4 to 14 years from all over Bangladesh will participate in the workshop to be held at the National Science and Technology Museum in the capital. In the event, children will be divided into different groups and they will make 3 types of rockets, model rockets, water rockets and vehicle rockets.
On behalf of the organizers, Ariful Hasan Apu, crew chief of the Space Innovation Camp, said, ‘This program is being organized to introduce science to children through various fun projects and games. Through this program they can learn science, technology, engineering and mathematics, computing, problem solving methods, team work etc.
