With the aim of exporting IT and ITES products, BASIS intends to highlight Bangladesh’s capabilities in three European countries. The BASIS delegation will visit Austria on June 30, Hungary on July 1 and the United Kingdom from July 2 to 6. They are leaving Bangladesh tonight in this regard.
The information was conveyed at a press conference held at the BASIS auditorium in Kawran Bazar on Tuesday with a view to branding and investing in the international market.
At the press conference, BASIS President Russell T. Ahmed said that BASIS will present their IT and ITES capabilities and success stories of Bangladesh in front of at least 350 companies from Austria, Hungary, United Kingdom and Slovakia. Besides, the government’s facilities in ICT will also be presented and the participating organizations will be invited to Bangladesh. At the same time BASIS will be attracted to investments through partnerships with member companies. BASIS will work to increase exports through bilateral meetings.
Among them, BASIS President Russell T. Ahmed and Vice President Abu Daud Khan are going to Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. Besides, BASIS senior vice-president Samira Zuberi Himika is going to London.
TIM Nurul Kabir, Chairman, International Market Development Standing Committee, BASIS and M Rashidul Hasan, Managing Director, CCTech Digital Limited were present at the press conference, among others.
The Global Sourcing Association (GSA) is organizing this branding festival called ‘Festival of Sourcing’ on its 35th anniversary. BASIS is the headline partner of this two-day event.
