The Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) has set up a ‘networking lab’ for the first time in Bangladesh to hone the skills of network engineers of member organizations to ensure uninterrupted internet flow across the country. This lab has installed all the related equipment starting from server and router. Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mostafa Jabbar will inaugurate the lab on May 27 installed in Dhaka from Hotel The Cox Today in the tourist city of Cox’s Bazar. Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and BPC Coordinator Md. Abdur Rahim will also be present at the inauguration ceremony of the international standard lab funded by the Business Promotion Council (BPC) and ISPAB.
After the inauguration of the lab, the workshop will continue till May 30th which will be presided over by ISPAB President Md. Imdadul Haque. Nazmul Karim Bhooiyan, the Secretary General of the organization will deliver a welcome speech at the inaugural ceremony.
Additional Commissioner of Bangladesh Police Nazmul Islam and Bijoy Digital CEO Jasmine Juin will be present as the keynote speakers at the event.
ISPAB Senior Vice President Saiful Islam Siddique, Vice President Md. Anwarul Azim, Joint Secretary General Md. Abdul Qayyum Rashed, Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Treasurer Md. Asaduzzaman, Director Sakif Ahmed, Mahbub Alam, Md. Zakir Hossain, AM Kamal Uddin Ahmed Selim, Fuad Muhammad Sharfuddin and Md. Nasir Uddin will also be present in the event.
The workshop divided into tho parts will be attended by about 400 Internet engineers, network experts, representatives of various government agencies and Internet traders, informed the ISPAB Secretariat.
