The country’s electronics giant Walton will supply and install one thousand 182 tons of VRF, RAC and light commercial type AC in the East Bank Service Area (EBSA) under the Bangabandhu Tunnel Project under the first Karnaphuli River in South Asia. This information was informed by Walton Hi-Tech Industries on Wednesday.
Tanveer Anjum, senior executive director of Walton, said that the Bangabandhu Tunnel is part of Bangladesh’s pride. Walton has signed an agreement to supply 1 thousand 182 tons of AC to the East Bank service area under the scope of the project with the Chinese company implementing the Bangabandhu Tunnel. It is a great honor to associate Walton with ‘Made in Bangladesh’ products with this tunnel project.
Sandeep Biswas, DCBO, Walton AC, said that Walton’s VRF, RAC and light commercial type AC with ‘Made in Bangladesh’ tag will be installed in South Asia’s first under-river tunnel project. This is undoubtedly a glorious achievement for Walton.
They said that Walton Hi-Tech Industries and Bangabandhu Tunnel Project Authority signed a formal agreement on Wednesday (October 18) at the conference hall of Chittagong’s Karnaphuli Tunnel Project Office to supply AC.
The signing ceremony was attended by Walton Senior Executive Director Tanveer Anjum, Walton AC Deputy Chief Business Officer (DCBO) Sandeep Biswas, Executive Director Ahmed Tanveer, Operative Director Md. Muhaiminul Bari, Deputy Operative Director Asaduzzaman, Senior Deputy Director Abul Bashar, Deputy Director Mokhlesur Rahman (Mamun) and others.
