The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the Japanese National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) at Amoi, Koto-ku, Japan on Thursday- the third day of her visit. She visited various parts of the National Science Museum of Japan.
In addition to Sheikh Rehana, the youngest daughter of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam and State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan Shahabuddin Ahmed, Director General of Bangladesh National Museum Md. Kamruzzaman and Prime Minister’s Office Secretary Mohammad Salahuddin were present there.
During the visit they experienced the technological advancements in this museum ranging from simple questions to latest technology, global environment to space exploration and life sciences.
Today, on Thursday (April 27), she visited various parts of the science museum. Sheikh Hasina’s speech writer M Nazrul Islam told state news media BSS that when Sheikh Hasina reached the museum, the authorities concern received her with a warm welcome. The Prime Minister was briefed on how mankind can sustainably survive in an eco-friendly environment.
He said the Prime Minister was also briefed on how carbon dioxide emissions, plastics and other human activities are endangering the lives of mankind and other animals on the planet and ways to avoid it. The Prime Minister also witnessed an exhibition of spaceships.
