A 3D model of the Padma Bridge is placed in the Science Museum. The model was handed over by the secretary of the bridge department Md. Manjur Hossain to Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of the National Museum of Science and Technology, at Setu Bhaban on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier, the Padma Bridge was opened for public use on June 26. Since then public interest and curiosity about the bridge is increasing.
In this context, the Director General of National Science and Technology Museum Mohammad Munir Chowdhury said, “This model of the Padma Bridge placed in the Science Museum will increase the scope of gathering knowledge of the public in general and the students as well. If the students are interested in the art and technology of bridge construction, the engineers of Bangladesh will build bridges in the future according to their talent and ability.”
