Today, on 24 May, Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha-BSS, the national News Agency of Bangladesh urged everyone to adapt to modern digital technology to build ‘Smart Bangladesh’ as envisioned by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said, ‘Bangladesh has achieved great success in implementing ‘Digital Bangladesh’ under the prudent policy and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. At BSS, we have already modernized our services using digital technology.’
The BSS Editor-in-Chief called the participants while addressing a workshop on ‘E-Governance and Innovation Action Plan’ at the BSS Board Room in the capital.
There is no way to avoid digitization, so he asks everyone to train earnestly.
The BASS chief also said, ‘We have to connect our lives with technology. In ‘Digital Bangladesh’ launched by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, there is no chance to avoid professional responsibilities.
Anisur Rahman, Managing Secretary of BSS delivered the closing speech at the workshop and online in-charge and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) Tanjim Anwar delivered the welcome speech.
Md. Mahbubul Kabir Siddiqui, System Analyst, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting spoke as the resource person and Mohammad Ali Khan Apu, Head of Planning, Development and Admin, BSS conducted the workshop.
Anisur Rahman thanked all concerned for organizing this workshop and said, ‘It is a fruitful workshop – which will help in adopting new innovative ideas to ensure better service to the clients of BSS.’
He also said, ‘Innovation is an ongoing process. We are always embracing new ideas to provide better service to our clients.’
