The 8th schooling of Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) has started from Thursday, April 27, in the afternoon at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering. 82 fellows participated in this year’s school.
In this three-day class, the selected students are learning hands-on the topics of internet administration such as governance, internet governance and digital governance, artificial intelligence, internet of things, DNS and internet ecosystem and big data.
In the first class, there was a discussion about safe internet, smart Bangladesh and various initiatives to eliminate digital inequality.
BIGF Secretary General Abdul Haque Anu delivered a welcome speech at the beginning of the program. The session was conducted by Rehan Uddin Ahmed Raju. Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum Vice Chair AHM Bazlur Rahman discussed governance, internet governance and digital governance.
The workshop will conclude on Saturday in the evening with a discussion on a multi-stakeholder program of action plans with a commitment to zeroing in on the digital divide.
BIGF Chairperson Hasanul Haque Inu will preside over the closing ceremony. This fellowship class starts every afternoon. The whole school is managed by BIGF Secretary General Mohammad Abdul Haque Anu.
