The World Telecommunication and Information Society Day 2024 will be celebrated on a large scale in public-private partnership on May 17. In order to celebrate the day, in line with the theme set by ITU for this year, the theme has been decided in Bengali is ‘Digital Innovation, Sustainable Development’. On the day, through various ceremonies, the organizers want to create a roadmap for sustainable prosperity for the country in the midst of implementing Smart Bangladesh, which connects everyone to digital innovation.
Various public and private organizations and institutions will highlight future smart Bangladesh including AI, cyber security, robotics.
The State Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has already made preparations for those issues in the conference room of the Posts and Telecommunications Department at Bangladesh Secretariat. In the meeting, he gave detailed instructions to observe the day with due importance.
