The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak commented that the grandson of Bangabandhu is making the youth of Bangladesh smart citizens by educating them in the technology of world victory. Referring to the Prime Minister’s ‘Amar Ghar Amar Shahar’ (My home, my town) initiative to spread the benefits of independence to all, the state minister said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government has arranged to provide high-speed internet connection in every region of Bangladesh to spread the benefits of independence to 17 crore people. As a result, 2 million technology-dependent youths are getting the opportunity to work in Europe and America while working sitting in villages.
He also said that after the construction of digital Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina has given a new vision to 5 crore students and youth of the country and identified 4 pillars to make Bangladesh an intelligent, knowledge-based innovative Smart Bangladesh by 2042.
Palak conveyed these messages while addressing as the chief guest at the national flag hoisting, armed salute to national heroes and parade on the occasion of the Great Independence and National Day 2023 on Sunday.
The State Minister Palak said, Bangabandhu, Liberation War and Bangladesh are tied in the same thread. But the history of this glory has been hidden for 21 years. In 37 years, not even a Shaheed Minar was built in Singra.
The program to mark the glorious Independence Day was organized by the Singra upazila administration. Upazila Nirbahi officer- UNO of Singra Upazila Mahmudul Khatun, the Officer-in Charge of the local police station Mizanur Rahman, municipal mayor Jannatul Ferdous, vice chairman Shamima Haque Rozi, upazila Awami League president Ahidur Rahman and others were present in the event.
